Many experts agree that positive relationships between co-workers leads to heightened productivity. This is especially true when your job is a United States Senator. Texas Senator Ted Cruz is not the most liked guy in the Senate and he is well aware of it. In attempt to change this perception Cruz has invited some of his colleagues to play basketball with him in order to build better relationships. Popular internet news media source DeadSpin isn’t buying it.

In an almost brilliant response Cruz tweets this back.

Ted Cruz successfully trolls DeadSpin with a picture of his twin, Grayson Allen, who just so happens to be the most hated guy in his field as well. Touche’ Teddy…
Love or Hate Cruz this basketball idea is not the worst he’s had, but I want to take it a step further. I am proposing a Congressional basketball league made up of two conferences (The House and Senate). Winning teams will play a championship game in the basketball court above the Supreme Court (Yes that exists). Can you imagine Senator McCain hitting a corner three at the buzzer, only to be called a two pointer via video review by Referee Elena Kagan… An absolutely electric allocation of our tax dollars. The only way it could be any better is if there was a Supreme Court Wrestling League… A guy can dream can’t he?
