The World’s #1 golfer looks like he will withdraw from The Masters following a fall at his rental house yesterday. I watched him take his practice swings for about 20 minutes and he never really looked comfortable. He never seemed to be able to take a full swing and even walked off during practice for about 5 minutes only to return a few minutes later and take a few more swings. This is a damn shame, obviously, we all want to see the best golfers go head-to-head at one of, if not, the premier course in the world. Johnson had also been playing some really great golf and was easily considered the favorite to win. He was phenomenal in Mexico and seemed to expand his game from strictly a power, long-drive player. The field has opened up a bit but it now looks as though it is Jordan’s jacket to lose. We will have a day-by-day recap each night throughout the tournament, come back for more coverage.
