On the night where the US Men’s Soccer team lost to Trinidad and Tobago, we, as a nation, are angry. But, like always, Americans will rally around one another and pick each other up in times of great need. And that is exactly what the Hamburger King has done.

Just a mere days after I mentioned that Wendy’s had eliminated Spicy Nugs from their menu, BK brings them back from the dead. Not only do they bring them back, but they absolutely bury Wendy’s in the process by taking out a full-page ad in the Miami Herald offering a free 10 piece to any woman named Wendy that enters a restaurant on October 13th. Cuncel Wendy’s. It’s over. Wendy is officially dead and the Hamburger King has her head on a stake. This business savvy move has firmly solidified BK as #1 in my book of fast food places.

Not to mention that BK offers the nuggets at a 10 for $1.49 deal. While we might not have a team in the World Cup this summer, fear not, because at least we have the delicious spicy nuggets back in our lives.
