Deshaun Watson Out For The Year After Suffering Torn ACL In Practice

Early ROY candidate Deshaun Watson’s outstanding rookie season has been cut short after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee during Texans practice Thursday. The ACL tear was confirmed by and MRI after suffering a non-contact injury during practice on Thursday. He is expected to be out for 8-9 months, hopefully returning on time to start the beginning of next season. Watson has thrown for almost 1,700 yards and 19 touchdowns so far this season, winning AFC Player of the Month most recently.
