Los Angeles Laker Jordan Clarkson has been having a pretty solid season so far, averaging close to 15/3/3 over the first 13 games of the season. While these are all around his career average, he has been playing significantly less minutes with the emergence of young players like Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and Lonzo Ball, playing only around 21 minutes a game. His efficiency has been through the roof, shooting 50% from the field and 39.5% from three. Now coming off the bench as supposed to his usual starting role, Clarkson says that women have been the key influence on his game, telling the Los Angeles Times that “they don’t like you when you’re down.”
“I mean my pops, my family, that’s always No. 1,” Clarkson said. “But second probably the girls and stuff. Females. Know what I mean? I love women.”
Clarkson has been paired with names like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin throughout his career, I wonder if he is going to step his game up off the court and pull in an actual Kardashian. Hard to tell how that will translate on the court, Tristan Thompson/Lamar Odum/Kris Humphries being not-so-great examples.
