The Dallas Cowboys have been under quite a bit of scrutiny after losing not only Ezekiel Elliott for the next six games due to suspension but also to the Atlanta Falcons in an embarrassing 27-7 showing. Philadelphia Eagles radio personality Howard Eskin naturally didn’t pull any punches when joining in on the fun, going after Dak Prescott for not being as talented without Elliott:

Cole Beasley of the Cowboys naturally was not too happy about these remarks and decided to take things to another level by directly letting Eskin know of his disagreement:

Eskin didn’t back down, responding with a rebuttal of his own:

The Eagles are set to play the Cowboys this coming week, which is set to be one of the most highly anticipated games of the season. I hope Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are able to pull some more tricks up their sleeves and get Elliott out of his suspension to play in this one. While Eskin¬†maybe¬†could have eased back on the Dak criticism, he is completely right about the Cowboys being a completely different team without Elliott. The Eagles are far-and-large seen as the best team in the NFL right now (shut up, Pats fans), and the Cowboys are going to need to play like they were playing last season to try to pull off the upset here. Maybe Beasley’s show of passion will help give this team the spark they need to compete in this one.
