Italy Out

The 2018 World Cup is one with no Dutch, no Chileans, no Americans, and now no Italians. In one of the most upside down World Cup cycles ever shock strikes again. Italy is four time World Cup Champions and has played in every single World Cup since 1958. To not be able to qualify for the World Cup brings on a sense of sadness and panic. Shame Italy won’t be in Russia, but they have won just one game at the World Cup since winning it in 2006. That was against England, obviously…… — Mark Ogden (@MarkOgden_) November 14,...

ICYMI: 49ers Marquise Goodwin Catches Touchdown Pass Hours After Losing Newborn Son

Arguably the biggest headline coming out of this past weekend’s slate of NFL games was Marquise Goodwin of the San Francisco 49ers catching an 83-yard touchdown pass mere hours after he and his wife lost their newborn son. Goodwin didn’t make this known to the public until after the game, but was naturally very emotional after scoring on an incredible touchdown catch. C.J. going DEEP to @flashg88dwin for the TD! 83 yards to the 🏡 #NYGvsSF — San Francisco 49ers (@49ers) November 12, 2017 Heartbreaking story. Devin Funchess Catches Touchdown Pass For Panthers In Honor Of Fallen Soldier

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Devin Funchess made a promise to a fallen soldier’s mom before taking the field Monday night against the Miami Dolphins and had no intentions of breaking that promise. Yesterday’s MNF game was Carolina’s “Salute to Service” game. The team met with military families before facing off against the Dolphins, with Funchess getting the chance to meet Tina Palmer, mother of Sgt. Dillon Baldridge, a US Army sniper who lost his life serving his country. Funchess wore his initials on his helmet Monday night, promising his mother that he would score a touchdown for her son...

Kyle Kuzma is Better Than Josh Jackson

Last night the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns 100-93 in Phoenix, with a strong performance from Rookie Kyle Kuzma over 34 minutes factoring in heavily. Kuzma scored 11 and grabbed 6 boards while adding 2 dimes, and has been a major factor ever since moving into the starting lineup for the injured Larry Nance Jr. Kuzma’s season averages are now up to 14.9 and 6.8 boards, which is mighty impressive for a dude picked 27th overall just a few months ago. The Other Rookie wing in this game? That would be Phoenix’s Josh Jackson, who played 18...
