Bulls Trade Jimmy Butler to Minnesota

Well folks, it finally happened. After over a year of speculation, Jimmy Butler was finally traded. In a deal that involved the Bulls sending their star and the 16th pick (Justin Patton) in this year’s draft, they received Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine and the 7th pick which was used on Arizona Frosh Lauri Markkanen. USMNT Defeats Trinidad and Tobago 2-0

The US Men’s National Team picked up a crucial victory in what most experts called a “must-win” game against Trinidad and Tobago as they continue on their quest for a berth in Russia 2018. After a very shaky, slow start — where it could be argued the US were outplayed — the half ended 0-0. The Americans opened it up in the second half and were led by wunderkind, Christian Pulisic, who found the back of the net twice, one of them in spectacular fashion. It cannot be stated enough how damn good this kid is. He has pace,...

College Basketball Update: Summer Edition

Another edition of the LMBF College Basketball Update is here and there is a TON to catch up on. Top Recruits Commit Later in Year It seems like the days of the nation’s top hoops players committing to their school of choice in the Fall might be fading away. With the ability for players to “test the draft waters” and then return to school prior to the late May draft deadline it leaves a ton of room for roster turnover to happen. This year especially saw many of the top recruits in the country wait until May (some are...
