UFC Champ Matt Hughes Airlifted After Car Collides With Train

Former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes had to be airlifted to a medical facility earlier this morning after his car collided into a train. Illinois State Police reported that his pickup truck was struck on the passenger side by the front of the train after Hughes crossed a railroad gate directly into it. The incident occurred at 10:43 a.m. in Raymond, Illinois, around 12 miles away from his home in Hillsboro.
