In arguably the largest gaffe I have ever seen by an internet company, Yahoo! needs to close business for good. Quickly following their massive email hacking of 500 million accounts, the worst ever, the company topped itself with this Fantasy Baseball update.

Literally hours after the tragic and devastating news that Marlins Pitcher Jose Fernandez had died, this update was released. There is no coming back from this. Yahoo! is #done. Get them outta here. How in the hell do you let something like this happen? Even our blog has someone called a content editor, multiple people had to have seen this before it went out to EVERYONE with their sports app. In a day where people are already incredible sensitive to things, this might take the cake as worst error by a .com in history. Really fantastic investment by Verizon, looks like they got the Clevenger/Feldman end of the Cubs-Orioles trade for Arrieta and Strop. If I’m Verizon, I’m asking for my money back.
