A less-than-convincing win against Purdue (at home, no less) should serve as loud and clear wake up call for the Huskers to get things locked down. The LMBF Civil War ended last night in bloody fashion, as the best regular-season pitcher of this generation failed to change his postseason narrative yet again. The Game 6 loss doesn’t fall squarely on Clayton Kershaw’s shoulders, however, as sloppy defense and baserunning and a lack of offensive production culminated in one of Los Angeles’ worst games of the season at the most inopportune of times.
