Hall beats Iowa, Ensures Big East Tie In Gavitt Games

Seton Hall picked up a big early season road win in Iowa City as the Pirates knocked off the Hawkeyes 91-83. The Hall was paced by Freshman guard Myles Powell who has 26 points off the bench, Iowa’s Peter Jok led all scorers with 30 points. The win gives the Big East a 4-3 edge going into the final game tomorrow night between Minnesota and St. John’s. Fenwick Playoff Run Lives On!

The Friars have made it deep into the playoff run, at least deeper than they have in years (excluding a Prep Bowl victory in 2010, of course). This team has talent all over the place and have the somewhat rare ability to be a high school football team that can actually pass.
