NFL Week 16 Picks<span class="wtr-time-wrap after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">2</span> min read</span>

Back in the black last week, let’s hit the Christmas weekend hard. Finally have my yearly total back on track and looking to close out the regular season strong.

Last Week: 3-2

Overall: 40-20-1

  • New York Jets at New England Patriots OVER 44

The Jets played the Pats really well last time the two met. That seems like ages ago. Tom Brady will throw at least 4 touchdowns and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Pats put up 45+. The Jets, despite being one of the worst teams, will still manage a few points.

  • Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills OVER 42

Miami put up some numbers with Matt Moore at QB and he actually looked really solid. I do not expect an identical week but he will help this offense score a few times. Meanwhile the Bills continue to show a porous defense and decent offense.

  • Arizona Cardinals +8 at Seattle Seahawks

Seattle and scumbag Pete have burned me a few times this year but giving Arizona 8 points is beyond me. Russell Wilson is so average this year and that Arizona defense gets after QBs. Expect Russ to turn it over a few times.

  • San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams OVER 40

Maybe I have too much faith that two NFL teams can combine for 40 points, but I’m gonna take the chance regardless. These teams met all the way back in Week 1 and San Fran dominated 28-0, since then they have lost 13 straight. LA bounced-back from that loss to win 3 straight and the proceed to drop 9 of 10, which got Jeff Fisher canned. Jared Goff is running the show and I’d also like to believe the top pick in the draft is capable of scoring 20 against one of the worst teams in football.

  • Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs -3.5

The Chiefs have been red hot since their bye week (8-2) and the Broncos have shown absolutely no sign of a cohesive offensive unit. They have scored a whopping 13 points combined in their last two games and are about to go up a stout KC defense. Andrew Reid, king of the football guys, will have his team fired up to clinch a playoff berth at home, Chiefs by at least a touchdown.
