Maryland Wins Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championships<span class="wtr-time-wrap after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">1</span> min read</span>

Ohio State lost to the University of Maryland 6-9 (nice) yesterday to hand the Terps their third men’s lacrosse championship in school history. They join the Maryland women as the 2017 champions with the women beating Boston College 13-11 on Sunday. This is the second straight year that the same school has won both the men’s and women’s lacrosse championships, with North Carolina winning both last year.

With lacrosse being a growing sport, you would think that those on the forefront would want to do everything possible to increase the sport’s popularity. With this, I feel Maryland did the sport a huge disservice by not wearing dope uniforms like the rest of their sports do; the uni’s they had on during their championship runs were way too vanilla.

Why they didn’t go out there in these bad boys I have no idea.

Do better next time, Maryland, do better. Congrats on the two new national titles I guess though.
