This move came suddenly in the wee hours of the morning, but it’s a move that probably needed to happen for the Knicks. It’s still somewhat surprising how quickly things transpired since last Thursday, Jackson drafted Frank Ntilikina eighth overall.
For fans of the organization, the hope is their next GM/president won’t fall asleep at draft workouts, fail to move on from Carmelo, and will do the right thing and not dangle Porzingis for skipping one meeting.
