Superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr will likely miss the remainder of the season after breaking his ankle late in the Giants 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Beckham Jr. fractured a bone in his left ankle with a little over four minutes left in the Giants loss. The Giants are now 0-5 and will be without their best offensive playmaker by far for the rest of the season.
The New York Giants are 0-5. They only lost five games all of last season. They have a non-existent running game on top of a terrible offensive line and perhaps the most mediocre quarterback in the league. It is going to be a long season for the G-Men, and the front office is going to have to really consider whether or not Eli Manning is in their plans in the years moving forward.
As for Odell, you can say what you want about off the field and him crying off the field, but he is one of the most passionate players when it comes to going to battle every game. You have to feel for him, he just suffered a pretty brutal injury and won’t be there to help his team try to get out of the massive hole they are currently in. Hopefully Odell is able to bounce back and come back next season in Odell-form.
