Devin Booker Carried Off Court After Apparent Groin Injury

Really bad injury from the looks of it early here. Devin Booker apparently suffered a strained left adductor (whatever that is) in tonight’s 126-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors. The injury comes just a night after Booker scored 46 points to beat the rising 76ers on Monday night. Stephen Curry Out At Least 2 Weeks With Ankle Sprain

The Golden State Warriors will be without star Stephen Curry for at least 2 weeks with the former MVP dealing with a right ankle sprain according to the team. An MRI found no structural damage and his status will be reassessed in two weeks the team stated on Tuesday. Curry injured the ankle on Monday after getting tangled with Pelicans guard E’Twaun Moore with around a minute to go in regulation of the Warriors’ 125-115 victory against New Orleans. “It was a dumb play because I tried to go for a steal… and then obviously it was just a...

If the Marlins Don’t Take the Giants Offer for Giancarlo Stanton Derek Jeter Deserves to be Removed From Ownership

Derek Jeter is off to a rough start as the Marlins Owner. There’s a wealth of stories I could link but you can just google his name, the early returns are not promising on Jeets. He seems like a dick and doesn’t seem capable of running a team. However, if he makes smart baseball decisions during this rebuild all will likely be forgotten, as wins and losses run our culture. So, lucky for him, teams are fucking lining up to take 10 years and $270 million of Giancarlo Stanton of his hands. I say “Take” for a reason, that...

Smith-Schuster, Iloka Suspended One Game For Hits In Steelers-Bengals Game

Things got very heated per-usual in yesterday’s Steelers-Bengals game, with many exclaiming that it was taken to a dangerous place with two very controversial hits being committed in particular. Juju Smith-Schuster has been suspended for one game for a vicious 4th-quarter block on linebacker Vontaze Burfict in addition to Bengals safety George Iloka being suspended for a game for his end zone hit on Antonio Brown in the fourth quarter. JuJu Smith-Schuster absolutely crushes Burfict pic.twitter.com/Tlf2nLb2bw — Pete Blackburn (@PeteBlackburn) December 5, 2017 Unreal. Bengals respond with a brutal hit from S George Iloka on Steelers WR Antonio Brown....

Derrick Rose Reportedly Returns To Cleveland Cavaliers

After placing himself on a week-and-a-half long exile from the team, Derrick Rose has reportedly returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The absence, starting the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, came as a result of a nagging ankle injury that has limited Rose to only 7 of the 23 games of the season so far. Being arguably the most injury-ridden superstar in NBA history, Rose placed himself on a self-imposed exile to ponder his future in the NBA. Rose is reportedly welcomed back with open arms and will continue to rehab his ankle until he is ready to play. There is currently...

Russia Banned From the 2018 Olympics

Anyone who has read this blog over the past year and a half knows I absolutely LOVE the Olympics. I spent pretty much every moment of every day in the summer of 2016 watching the Rio Games and it was awesome. I am beyond excited for 2018 in Pyeongchang, but we’ve got some big news just a few short months ahead of the torch being lit. The entire Russian Federation has been banned from participating in the Olympics, just 4 years after hosting. The country’s officials are banned, the flag will not be shown, and they will not play...

Coaching Carousel Update

Been about a week or so since we’ve reviewed the carousel, and boy does this thing just keep on spinning. Before we get going on that, a couple things about the Playoff and the committee’s decision. They absolutely, 100% got it right. There was never a scenario in my eyes that OSU was getting in over Alabama. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, you can’t go to Iowa City and get the doors blown off, just too much for the committee to see past. Georgia vs Baker Mayfield is going to be awesome, but World War III at the Sugar Bowl...
