Weekend Recap: February 4th

The Super Bowl has come and gone and the New England Patriots are once again Champions. For the 6th time in the Brady-Belichick era the Pats have taken home the Lombardi Trophy. They did so with a boring 13-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Brian and Sam talk about the game and what it means for McVay and LA moving forward. They also talk about Edleman winning MVP and a quick look ahead to next season.

In College Basketball we saw Michigan, Michigan State, and LSU all lose games this weekend to unranked opponents. 2 of those 3 happened at home no less. But the real story was North Carolina State and their inability to score. The Wolfpack managed just 24 points on 54 shots AT HOME, against a good Virginia Tech team. The 24 points is the lowest in the shot clock era and 9-54 was a program worst in terms of shooting percentage.

People forget: Gordon Bombay only coached the Ducks because it was a court order.
