Bubble Games to Watch: March 3

A bunch happened yesterday and it was mostly bad for the current bubble teams and good for the ones on the outside looking in. Indiana had a massive win over Michigan State, Texas blew out Iowa State in Austin, Wofford continued their dominance over the SoCon by sweeping the regular season, while UCF and Utah State locked up their at-large bid. On the flip side, Alabama, NC State, Butler, Seton Hall, and Florida all had a rough day.

St. John’s at DePaul 11am CT FS1

A few days ago the loss to Xavier looked tough for the Johnnies, but given the current state of the bubble they simply need to avoid a loss to DePaul to lock up their at-large bid. Really just one more win does it and even if they don’t get one, they should still be in.

Notre Dame at Louisville 12:30pm CT CBS

It’s been a massive down year for Mike Brey and the Irish. Very unusual sight to see in South Bend. They look to play spoiler at Louisville who has looked completely broken since the Duke loss. A loss here should really start to worry Cardinals’ fans that weren’t already worried.

Tulane at Temple 1pm CT ESPNU

Avoid losing to the worst team in the American, who also happens to be winless, and fight for another day. Temple can’t gain anything from this but has a lot to lose.

People forget: Gordon Bombay only coached the Ducks because it was a court order.
